Mickey's Bio

Mickey was born and raised in a family that ministers through preaching, teaching and song. It is only natural that he would follow in their footsteps.

Mickey's resume' includes Singer, Songwriter, Musician, Producer, Vocal Coach, Songwriting Coach, Bible Teacher and Ordained Minister.

Through the years Mickey has enjoyed serving as a Concert Promoter, Radio Announcer, Sunday School Teacher, Sunday School Superintendent, Youth Director, Christian Education Director and Church Trustee. He has been appointed to many Boards, Committees and Councils.

Mickey was a columnist for the Trade Review Magazine as well as the Gospel Post Magazine. He also served as the Educational Director and a Consultant for the North Florida Christian Music Writers Association.

He has performed with such groups as the Liberty Boys Quartet, the original Canaanland Boys, and the River City Trio. He managed the Canaanland Boys and the River City Trio. 

Mickey's songs have been recorded by some of the top Gospel Artists in the industry like the Kingsmen Quartet, Perry's, New Hinson's, Lewis Family, Gospel Enforcers, Safe Harbor, Danny Funderburk & Mercy's Way, Canaanland Boys Quartet and others.

Mickey wrote these songs and recorded them for his solo album, which has yet to be mixed, mastered and released.

The album was recorded at GAT3 Studios, the background vocals were supplied by The Sisters. Heather Day (of The Sisters) produced the album.
