Convention Kudos

Here's what some of our attendees (Conventioneers) had to say about our 2011 Gospel Songwriters Convention.
It was such a pleasure to participate at this year's Gospel Songwriters Convention. The highlight for me was the fellowship with each songwriter and their guests. I feel like I made lifetime friends and I know I'm going to be hearing wonderful songs from all my new songwriter family.

The convention by my definition was a wonderfully spiritually uplifting, emotional, and educational Mt. Everest experience! Just as last year, it greatly exceeded our great expectations. Jamee, Allison, and I had a wonderful time; in fact, there were so many blessings that pounds of ink and tons of paper would be required to capture the event.... The best part of the convention was the Christian Fellowship, with our friends from last year and our new friends.... The song sharing on Sunday night was the perfect end to a Great Convention... We returned home inspired and refreshed...

I had been praying for God to allow me to go into this Gospel Songwriters Convention with an open mind and heart. I knew there were things I needed to learn but didn't know exactly what I was needing. I was pleased with Phil Cross and the effort he took in presenting the basic "A-Z" packet of information about how to write a "great" song. Bro. Phil's critique was very fair and enlightening as to what I had to do in my songwriting in order to reach a "great" status. Lord willing, that goal will be achieved.
