And The Winner Is...

GospelSongwriter.Com congratulates and celebrates our Gospel Songwriters Contest winner Debby Harrah, the writer of our winning song “Welcome To The Lord’s House”.

Although Debby is relatively unknown and still pressing her way to the top she isn’t a newcomer to Gospel music, her song “God Is My refuge” has been performed and recorded by several artists including the incomparable Janet Paschal.

Debby’s talent to sing, write and play emanated via the influence of her family who loves to harmonize the Gospel in song, along with her passion for serving in an atmosphere of worship.

Debby said, “I hope my songs speak to and connect with people, wherever they are in life's challenges, and inspire them to hope, rejoice and draw closer to the Lord. I give God all the glory for anything I accomplish, and I am thankful for His faithfulness to me in every season of my life.”

Debby stays busy as wife, mother, registered nurse, and a church musician, but also makes time for, loves and enjoys writing the Gospel in song.
